01Using NanaiNest without an account

You can open NanaiNest and use it as a guest — soundscapes, spheres, the timer, notes, and tasks all work with no sign-up. In guest mode we do not collect any personal information, and your settings, notes, and tasks are stored only on your device.

02What we collect when you sign in

Creating an account (Sign in with Apple, or with an email address) lets your eggs, hatched spheres, and card collection sync to the cloud. To do that, we collect and store:

• Account details — your email address and display name, used to create and secure your account and to send account emails such as verification and password resets.
• An account identifier — a unique ID that links your saved data to your account.
• Your collection — your eggs, hatched spheres, cards, progress, and referral code, so they're preserved and synced across your devices.

This information is linked to your identity and is used only to run the app's features. It is never used to track you across other apps or websites.

03What we don't collect

No advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, no health data, and no browsing history. NanaiNest contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track your activity across other apps or websites.

04Microphone

NanaiNest can optionally use your microphone so the visual spheres react to live sound. Audio is processed in real time on your device — nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can deny microphone access and the app works normally.

05On-device data

Your notes, tasks, timer settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

06Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers purely to run the app's account features. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, and secure functions that store and sync your account and collection. See Firebase's privacy information.
• Resend — delivers account emails such as verification and password-reset messages. See Resend's privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

07Deleting your account and data

You're in control. Open the Account panel and tap Delete Account at the bottom. This permanently removes your account and its associated data — your profile and your synced collection — from our systems. The action can't be undone. You can also email us and we'll help you delete your data.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to request a copy of it. To make a request, email nico.esg.rey@gmail.com and we'll respond promptly.

09Children's privacy

NanaiNest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

10Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
